A special edition 599 built to celebrate Ferrari’s 60 years of winning in formula 1 and this victory that marked this milestone was Fernando Alonso at the 2011 British grand prix. This version of the 599 was announced in the December 2011, its based on the 599 HGTE chassis, that utilised stiff suspension, shorter springs and stiffer anti-roll bars over the standard 599 GTB.
